Math Mammoth worktexts and workbooks

Hello! My name is Maria Miller — the author of the Math Mammoth books you see on this site.
My aim with the books is to help parents and teachers teach math so our children and students can really understand what is going on. I've strived to explain the concepts so that both the teacher and the student can "get it" by reading the explanations in the books. In essence, the books become self-teaching.
I've always (since 2003) wanted to offer materials at affordable prices. So if you're one of those having to watch every dollar, check into my Blue Series books - the electronic versions cost between $2 and $5 apiece.
The colorful boxes below introduce the four different series of Math Mammoth books. For each book there is a description and free sample pages (which you can use for your teaching!). In fact, you can also subscribe to my newsletter or to the "math teaching" article series to get a PACKAGE of about 280 free sample sheets — see the bottom of this page.
New! A new book in the Blue Series, Decimals 2 teaches all aspects of decimal arithmetic with decimals that have up to three decimal digits. The book is suitable for 5th and 6th grade.
New! LightBlue, Grade 5-A for the complete curriculum is now available
New! A new book in the Blue Series, Metric Measuring contains lessons about length, weight, and volume in metric units, plus temperature in Celsius degrees. The lessons are meant for grades 1-4. (Most of these lessons are already included in the earlier book, Measuring 1, which deals with both customary and metric units.)
- for grades 1-5, organized by topic.
- contain both explanations and problems
- practically self-teaching - only a little teacher involvement needed
Each book concentrates on a few topics only, such as perhaps addition & subtraction, multiplication, clock, fractions, division, geometry, etc. They are especially good for remedial or supplemental work - whenever your students need extra help on some particular topic.
